Research proposal of scientific arkana of wild dogs are still on zoologist’s desk. The article is about revealing the ins and outs of dholes and their life, conservation and ecology in remote wilderness. On the track of dholes in natural environment of Sichuan is theme of that article. That piece of work is apropos the most important initiative of Environment Challenges Consulting. We are focused on exploring the gaps in knowledge about wild dogs Cuon alpinus in sub-alpine montane forests of Xuebaoding Reserve and other territories of Sichuan. That article is insights into research and conservation of endangered dholes aka asiatic wild dogs in Sichuan, that story is important for further initiatives for dhole conservation. The aims of that article is urgently needed for open the Dhole Conservation Project in China under international partnership. It is scientific voyage in search of unique and original wild dog species, not well understood. Get the voive in dhole conservation. Let’s protect the dhole and inform about needs for population studies. Throught the project european scientists will work hard for gather experience in wildlife conservation. I thus inform about innovative non-invasive expedition on the track of legendary dholes in sub-alpine montane forests of Sichuan. Poorly is known about natural history of dhole population in China. Track of wild canids are found in the mountains and the wild dogs posses their shelters in caves far in the hills of Gongga and reserve of Heishuihe. Rationally, I inform about such phenomenon as needs for asiatic wild dog Cuon alpinus research and conservation in Sichuan wilderness, especially in sub-alpine montane forests. There are vast lands in western Sichuan surveyed not well, due to difficult accessibility. Finally, poorly is known about dhole population in highlighted region. Call is for implementing assessment of dhole population and understanding species in different environmental conditions in Sichuan, mainly in sub-alpine forests ecosystem. Basal monitoring has been provided useful knowledge for more detailed non-invasive scat analysis, characterize peculiar behaviour, activity patterns and presence-absence studies based on camera trapping technique in the interior of Sichuan. Human encroachment provided new challenges for conservation of asiatic wild dog in wilderness in epoche called antropocene. Dhole conservation Initiative will partnership in Cuon alpinus research and preservation in wild Sichuan. Some preliminary project can be conducted for dhole seeking in Gongga Mountain National Nature Reserve where between 2011-2016 carried out species inventories of medium-sized and large mammals and ground-dwelling birds in the land, but discovery of Cuon alpinus was failed (Qiao, J. et al.2021). Another part of the project can be implemented in Sichuan Xuebaoding National Nature Reserve, where dhole has been confirmed during investigation and monitoring of mammals and birds assemblage between the years 2017 and 2019 ( Ji,Y. et al. 2020). Conclusion is optimistic – result indicated high diversity of endangered animals, including dholes. Camera traps as powerful tool identified dhole as scavenger of Rhinopithecus roxellana in Laohegou Nature Reserve, based in the province (Huang, Zh. et al. 2014). More research is needed for assessment of dhole ecological requirements in the region called Heishuihe Nature Reserve-Qionglai Mountains, where this canid was recorded in 2012 based on camera trapping survey of wild mammals (Y. Zhou, unpublished). Ecology and conservation project is needed also in Wolong Nature Reserve, where research done between 2014-2016 provided some valuable record of Cuon alpinus (Shi, X. et al. 2017). Dhole ecology project is needed in Tangjiahe Nature Reserve, northern Sichuan where asiatic wild dog was observed in 2003 (Y.Zhou, unpublished). More research is needed for estimate habitat use, spatial ecology and current status in those regions and in others namely, Daxue Shan Mountains (west Sichua) and Minshan Mountains (northern Sichua) reported by specialists from union for nature conservation. Conservation of dholes in mentioned areas are crucial for surviving the species in Southwest China. Thanks those people for all works dedicated for dhole ecology and conservation in Sichuan, little explored region by mean of dhole’s natural history. The project on canid ecology in given part of the world can be done with promoting the phD student, which work on Cuon alpinus in Sichuan. Pass it on to scientists interested in study and conservation of dhole in Sichuan. For partnership in project please contact with proesssionals from union for nature conservation and NGOs from french and german teams, museum of natural history from west part of old continent and russian country, wildlife authorities from universities and organisations from european union brotherhood and american coalition, explorers league from chinese branch, department of natural resources from nordic and russian, zoo foundation from european city. Further project concerning dhole conservation and research in Minshan Mountains or Heishuihe Reserve is needed, and thus could be realized throughout zoological expeditions of european team of scientists. The project is based on inventories of natural history and nature conservation, and then scientific reports review from duration of years 2012-2021. Research is based on work dated as far as 2008.
